Join us for an amazing photography workshop experience in Paris, France with photographer Louis Jay. A bustling cultural mecca that’s oozing with charm, Paris is truly a photographer’s dream. With quaint sidewalk cafes, historic bars, magnificent architecture, and rich streetscapes as our backdrop, we will explore the city, learning how to create timeless street photographs and meaningful portraits.
Paris and Miami resident and veteran photographer Louis Jay will be your workshop instructor. Leica Specialists David Farkas and Kirsten Vignes from Leica Store Miami will be on hand to give assistance and advice as you photograph the City of Light.
Paris is one of the most photogenic cities in the world, with stunning tourist sites and quiet, charming back streets. As a long-time resident and bilingual speaker, Louis will show his favorite shooting locations in this historic city.
Paris is one of the world’s great cultural and historical destinations. The streets are rich in architectural elements, iconic monuments, and of course interesting people. Also known for its café culture, we’ll have ample opportunity to sample first-hand the famous cuisine and wines Paris has to offer.
Paris in early June is usually very pleasant with the temperatures in the mid 60s °F to the mid 70s °F in the day. Evenings are often cooler, so plan on throwing on a light sweater or fleece later in the day. Rain is always a possibility in Paris, so a packable rain jacket is advisable. Comfortable sneakers or walking shoes are also a must as we will be doing a lot of walking during this workshop in search of great photographs.
