Summing it up in one word: “Terrific". First Juan and Gokhan made a great team. I think I learned more and understand more about street photography than in any other workshop. Both leaders were patient, knowledgeable, and spent a lot of individual time with us. The city is magnificent. Great sites, great food, great weather, easy transportation. All in all, it was an excellent workshop and I would encourage anyone interested in street photography to take this. I just can’t say enough positive about it.

Adventurous, creative, wonderful dining, first class hotels, travel and restaurants. Fun group to be with. Good mix. I appreciate the time made for street photography opportunities and exciting nighttime excursions. Great guides and Leica team. Andy is special and Colin is my buddy. Colin (and Jose) have a good sense of being aware of the occasional deficiencies us older types present during our trips. Much appreciated. Truly great trip, I want to do more.

This was a great workshop! Perfect amount of time, and a great balance between structured and unstructured time. Inspirational leader in Rui, with great and very competent support from Juan and Kirsten. I would highly recommend this workshop to any of my photography friends, and look forward to more workshops from Leica store Miami.

Everything about it was right! Terrific experience! The students were all serious about their photography. We were a compatible as a group which made the experience even more enjoyable. The broad range of material covered, particularly the ongoing discussion (and printing) what. papers. ie. Baryta vs Matte. Working and talking with Jonathan was very beneficial. Richard is a terrific instructor. Easy to talk to and willing to share his wealth of knowledge. His slide presentation lecture was excellent. Thank you Richard, Peter and Jonathan for a complete success! Loved it!

The selected sites were unbelievable, the schedule was very well planned, the team (Colin, Adam and Brynjar) was vey good: anticipating needs, helping out, maintaining a good attitude and making sure there was always a positive environment in the group. Colin was especially good.

The Faroes were great and we lucked out with the weather, but the success of the trip, both the travel and the photography, was due to great preparation by Peter and David and excellent guiding by Thomas and Joel. I liked the range of opportunity - from classic landscapes to sheep shearing - and appreciated the attention to finding a terrific hotel, and to great meals, drink, and other such comforts.
