Vincenzo Mazza is an Italian landscape and nature photographer, and a partner guide for our Iceland and Dolomites workshops. Born near Rome, he began photographing at a young age and later transitioned from a career in graphic design to full-time photography in 2011. Deeply committed to authenticity, Mazza’s images reflect real moments in nature, captured with sensitivity to light, atmosphere, and place—without artificial manipulation.
In addition to his photographic practice, Mazza is a certified outdoor and glacier guide, working closely with the Icelandic Mountain Guides. His dual expertise allows him to lead photographers safely and confidently through some of the world’s most dramatic environments while helping them develop a deeper, more intentional approach to landscape photography. His work has been recognized internationally and featured in publications including National Geographic Italia, BBC Wildlife, Vanity Fair, Iceland Magazine, and Condé Nast Traveler.
