Join us on an extraordinary luxury photo safari to Namibia! We’ve partnered with Natural World Safaris to carefully curate this journey through one of the most other-worldly countries on the planet. This adventure into Namibia’s spectacular wilderness will afford you aerial and closeup views of shipwrecks, coastal landscapes and ever-changing geological formations, often the last refuge of many desert adapted species. You will travel by private charter flights and overland as you explore this remote wilderness and photograph it’s unique, desolate landscapes.
The daily activities and timings will follow a ‘go with the flow’ mentality and will be dictated by wildlife sightings, weather, and more. Each evening, you’ll return to some of the the most spectacular lodges in Namibia. This trip has been planned to coincide with the new moon to maximize astro photography opportunities.Â
When people talk about African safaris, minds tend to wander towards East African destinations, such as Kenya and Tanzania, or to the South to Botswana or South Africa. Namibia is often overlooked, yet it is the unsung hero of Africa and genuinely offers travelers something absolutely unique, something that many don’t even know exists. Namibia is not one of the ‘big five’ destinations, it is not renowned for its colonial history, or even its days of glory as a safari destination. And that is just one of the reasons why we love it!
Namibia is home to outstanding landscapes, with deserts that have sprawled into deserted towns, one of the deepest canyons in the world, and even beaches strewn with whale bones and shipwrecks almost in equal measure. Sea lions surf turquoise waves, rare desert adapted wildlife wanders freely in search of water, ancient rock art livens up huge granite boulders and the world’s largest sand dunes are just begging to be climbed. With Germanic roots and an infrastructure to back this up, Namibia offers a diversity that is offered by few other African destinations. With a variety of stunning landscapes, wild coastlines, world class game viewing and unique camps and lodges, Namibia should actually be at the top of an African enthusiasts list.
