Red Dot Photo Workshops is the destination workshops program of Leica Store Miami. This statement describes what personal information we collect when you use this website, create an account, or book a workshop; how we use it; and the choices you have. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Red Dot Photo Workshops, LLC.
Account and contact information. When you create an account or book a workshop we collect your name, email address, phone number, country, and mailing and billing addresses.
Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is entered directly with and stored by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers. We keep records of payments, refunds, and credits associated with your bookings (amount, date, card brand, and last four digits).
Traveller profiles. To operate your trip we collect traveller details you provide: legal name, date of birth, passport number, country of issue and expiration (where a workshop requires it), dietary preferences, allergies, medical notes you choose to share, emergency contact details, and an optional profile photo.
Travel details. Flight information you enter for your trip — airline, flight number, and date — is used to fill in your itinerary and to monitor your flights for delays around your workshop. Flight lookups are performed through a third-party flight-data service using only the flight identifiers, never your personal details.
Insurance confirmations. Where a workshop requires or recommends insurance, we record your confirmation or declination, and any policy documents you choose to upload as evidence of coverage. Uploaded documents are stored privately and are accessible only to our staff.
Waivers. Liability waivers are signed electronically through BoldSign, which processes your name and email for that purpose.
Communications. We keep records of booking-related emails we send you and messages you send us through the dashboard. If you separately opt in to marketing email or SMS, we record that consent; you can withdraw it at any time.
We use your information to operate your bookings and trips: processing payments and refunds, preparing rosters and travel logistics, meeting the safety and documentation requirements of our operating partners, sending you booking, payment, and pre-departure communications, monitoring your flights for delays, and maintaining your account. We also use it to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Small-group travel is social by design. For each workshop, an attendee roster showing your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo (if you add one) is visible to the other confirmed participants and guides on that same workshop — on the trip’s pre-departure information page and in pre-departure emails — so the group can coordinate travel and stay in touch. Your passport, payment, medical, and insurance details are never shown to other participants. If you prefer to be excluded from the shared roster, contact us before your trip and we will remove your contact details from it.
We share traveller details with the local operators, lodges, vessels, and partner guides who deliver your workshop, limited to what they need: typically names and, where the operator requires them, passport details for permits and manifests, dietary requirements for meal planning, and any medical or emergency-contact information relevant to your safety in the field.
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), BoldSign (electronic waiver signatures), a flight-data service (flight schedule lookups and delay monitoring), our email delivery and website hosting providers, and an anti-spam service that screens form submissions. Each receives only the data needed for its function.
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function — keeping you signed in to your account and remembering your session while you book. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
Booking and payment records are retained as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Traveller profiles remain in your account so you can reuse them for future trips; you can edit or delete saved traveller profiles from your dashboard at any time. Uploaded insurance documents are retained for the trip they relate to and our record-keeping period, after which they may be deleted.
You can view and update your contact details, traveller profiles, and communication preferences in your customer dashboard at any time. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain, by emailing info@reddotphotoworkshops.com. Where our use of your information relies on your consent — such as marketing email or SMS — you can withdraw that consent at any time.
The site is served over encrypted connections, payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, and documents you upload are stored privately and restricted to our staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect, restrict who can access it, and use established providers for the most sensitive processing.
Our workshops and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; traveller details for a minor travelling with a guardian are provided by, and managed through, the guardian’s account.
We may update this statement as our services evolve. The current version is always posted on this page, and the effective date above tells you when it last changed.
