By accessing our website, creating an account, or booking a workshop with Red Dot Photo Workshops (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
A booking is confirmed when we receive your initial deposit or full payment. Workshop availability is limited, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due as specified in your booking confirmation. Payment reminders are sent via email and, if you opt in, via SMS. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Enrollment is limited, and once you sign up, we are counting on your attendance. If you need to withdraw from a workshop, please Request Cancellation in your Customer Dashboard as soon as possible. This is our refund policy:
Our cancellation policy is based on how far in advance you cancel relative to the tour travel date. Specific refund percentages and applicable service fees are detailed in your booking confirmation and on the tour detail page. Refunds are issued to the original payment method or via PayPal where applicable. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control, in which case a full refund will be issued.
If you cancel and we find someone to fill your seat, we will refund you the full amount you have paid towards the tuition, minus a $250 service charge. If you cancel and we cannot find someone to fill your seat, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule:
At least 90 days before the start of the workshop: Full refund minus $250 service fee.
Between 89 and 60 days before the start of the workshop: 75% refund
Between 59 and 45 days before the start of the workshop: 50% refund
Less than 45 days from the start of the workshop: No refund
If for any reason you wish to transfer your deposit or workshop fee, please notify us by email. You must register and complete a new workshop within 24 months of the withdrawal. We reserve the right to accept or deny any transfer.
Leica Store Miami reserves the right to cancel a reservation if full payment has not been received by 90 days prior to the start of the workshop.
In the event that this workshop must be canceled due to inadequate enrollment, all fees and deposits will be refunded in full or may be transferred to another workshop within 24 months.
In the unlikely event of illness, accident or injury to one of the instructors, Leica Store Miami reserves the right to replace that instructor with a comparable instructor.
There are no exceptions to our Cancellation and Transfer Policy.
You are responsible for providing accurate traveller information (passport details, dietary requirements, emergency contacts, etc.) by the deadlines specified. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect travel arrangements, and we are not liable for issues arising from incorrect details you provide.
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance as required for your destination. We may provide guidance but are not responsible for entry denials or travel disruptions due to missing documentation.
Emergency medical insurance through a provider like Allianz or similar is required to participate in any of Leica Store Miami’s international workshop.
Leica Store Miami is not responsible for cancellations due to medical or personal emergencies so we highly recommend purchasing travel Insurance. Companies like Travelex and Allianz Global Assistance are reputable but you can choose any vendor you like. Just make sure that they have an A+ rating from the BBB. Leica Store Miami is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets in the event of a workshop cancellation.
We advise all of our workshop attendees to insure their camera gear against damage, theft, loss, etc. If your gear is not already insured, check with your home owner’s insurance to see if they offer coverage. There are several photo specific insurance policies out there as well.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
By booking a workshop, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your booking (confirmations, payment requests, trip information, invoices). These are not marketing emails and are necessary for the operation of your booking.
SMS notifications are optional. If you opt in (via your dashboard profile or during checkout), you agree to receive text messages from Red Dot Photo Workshops at the phone number you provide. These messages include booking confirmations, payment reminders, and trip updates.
Opting out of SMS does not affect your booking or email communications.
Photography workshops may involve walking on uneven terrain, travel in unfamiliar environments, and early or late hours. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, safety, and personal belongings. We strongly recommend travel insurance for all participants.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Dot Photo Workshops shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, participation in workshops, or reliance on information provided. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific workshop in question.
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, airline disruptions, or government restrictions.
All content on our website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Red Dot Photo Workshops or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Photos you take during our workshops are yours. However, by participating, you grant us permission to use photos taken by our guides and staff during the workshop for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing materials), unless you notify us in writing that you prefer not to appear in such materials.
You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the website’s operation. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
